HFA (Hockey For All) is an introduction to ice hockey for anyone who would like to try the fastest team sport in the world. You must be at least 16 years old but we have no upper age limit. In fact our most experienced player is 70 - and yes, we have female participants as well!

HFA is run by fully qualified coaches. We carry a couple of sets of spare kit which can be used if you want to try out for the first time. You should ideally have your own skates and be able to skate forwards (skid stopping can be learned at our sessions or alternatively the boards around the arena will stop you before you reach the car park!).

Our training sessions are mostly on Sundays from 10:00 am for 1 hour at a cost of £10 at the Dundee Ice Arena . HFA caters for all abilities, from absolute beginner to pre-recreational level.

We are an entirely "not for profit" organisation. Our coaches do not receive payment - they do it simply to provide an opportunity for anyone who wants to participate in the greatest game on earth! Any excess funds are retained for the benefit of the group and generally involve "a bit of a do" at the Arena. So why not come along and join us or call the Ice Arena on Dundee 889369 for details of any additional HFA times during the week.
